This open to all members and families, Juniors thru to Seniors and friends. A fun night is assured.

Dust off those flannies and uggies and comb up your mullet… Bogan Bingo is coming to EBC on Saturday, 15th February 2020 Tickets $25.00 per person or tables of 8 at the discounted price of $160.00. Tickets are strictly limited on a first-in, best dressed (or worst dressed) basis. Tickets can be purchased from the canteen. Register your interest in this post on our facebook page.

EBC Summer Juniors Come & Try Day 25th Aug

To All Prospective and Current EBC Summer Junior Members  

The Summer season is fast approaching and we have been asked by Baseball Victoria to nominate Junior teams for the 19/20 season.  

To help us sort things out could you please hit reply to this email to confirm if your child is intending to play OR not playing this season.

This way we can confirm the correct amount of teams we need to nominate.

Come & Try Day 25th August  

Come down and enjoy a day of baseball with one of the leaders in Victorian baseball.

We welcome all existing and new players to this pre-season day.

Venue – Boeing Reserve, Boeing Rd Strathmore Heights.
When – Sunday 25th of Aug
Time – 10 am-12 pm

Join us and have a chat with our friendly and engaging community.

At EBC, we provide kids with a pathway to be not only great athletes but develop them into outstanding individuals.

With our coaching principles and off-field mantra of EBC love, we strive to ensure that the kids feel like they are part of a baseball family.

We also strive to provide a community for you as a parent/supporter. With warm and inviting club rooms, barista-made coffee, gym and fitness sessions, mental well-being classes and social activities all through the summer.

EBC Seniors Pre-Season Meeting 25th Aug

Hi all,

Due to a conflict with the Winter Season fixtures we have had to change the date of the Seniors Pre-season meeting AND Venue.

It will now be:

Date: Sunday 25th of August
Time: 3.30pm
Venue: Boeing Reserve .

There will be Pre season hitting and Bullpens from 2/2:30-3:30pm

For those who wish to get in extra work, the juniors have their come and try day until 12:30pm and the field will be available for practice after.

We would also appreciate those who can to come down and help with the junior come and try day. Which runs from 10am-12pm

To All Intending EBC Senior Members for Summer 2019/20

As most should be aware by now, Russell Spear has been appointed and accepted the role of Head Club Coach for this season.

We are currently trying to work out how many Senior teams we will need to enter this season.

It will be helpful to us if you can confirm whether you will be playing this Summer season (or not). Either way please hit reply to this email to let us know.

It’s that time of the year again, let’s get together for a catch up to hear from Russ about his plans for the pre season and the year ahead.

This is an annual event and it is usually well attended. I encourage all who are available to come along.

When and Where?

Sunday 18th August

3:30-4:30 at the Apollo Cafe
111 Hawke St West Melbourne

Everyone is invited. There will be snacks and drinks will be available at bar prices.
If you want a meal, please head there early (around 2:30pm)
Russell and the team are looking forward to catching up with our EBC family again.

EBC Club BV Award Winners

Congratulations are in order for 2 of our esteemed Members who were presented with prestigious awards at the 2018/19 Baseball Victoria Awards Night.

Our President, Tony Cornish was presented with the BV Volunteer of the Year Award. (Presented by Baseball Victoria Life Member, our very own superstar Julie Jones)

Our Div 1 Women’s Premiership winning coach, Duane Davenport was presented with the BV Coach of the Year Award.

Also 2 members of our Div 1 Women’s Premiership winning team made the nominations list for some of the main Women’s awards.

Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Day Sun 10th Feb

EBC are pleased to advise that we will be holding a Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Day.

The day is in support of Zachary McIntyre. Zachary is the young son of Dean & Jody McIntyre and the little brother of sister Addison.

Date is Sunday the 10th of February.

On that day the 1sts & Reserves will be playing Fitzroy and the Div 4 (Baby) Bombers will be playing Mitchell Majors

It will be a day for everyone of any age. We hope to see as many people as possible.
