Code Of Conduct
This Code of Conduct outlines appropriate standards of behaviour by adults towards children.
The Code of Conduct aims to protect children and reduce any opportunities for abuse or harm to occur. It also helps staff and volunteers by providing them with guidance on how to best support children and how to avoid or better manage difficult situations. This Code of Conduct applies to all people involved in Essendon Baseball Club’s activities, including coaches, officials, volunteers and parents.
All parents, supporters and spectators must abide by the Australian Baseball Federation (ABF) Parent and Supporter Code of Conduct of Behaviour as well as the code of conducts or policies of host organisations, venues and local club policies
As a parent/supporter/spectator associated with or attending any activity held by or under the auspices of the Australian Baseball federation (ABF), a member association or an affiliated club, these policies and codes of behaviour are binding.
The Council of Australian Baseball Scorers’ (CABS) Code of Conduct has been developed for all scorers to abide by whilst participating in an official capacity at any baseball game. It is recognised that scorers play an integral role in our sport and their performance and professionalism is observed by all in the baseball community in their capacity as a scorer.
